HOMEWORK POLICY
Any work turned in late will receive an automatic 10-point deduction from the overall percentage for each day it is late.
Late work will be accepted up to a week from the original due date. Accommodations can be made on a case-bycase. basis.
You will notice that there are certain markers in the grade book to signify the circumstances of each student with regard to grades)A Absent, E Extension, and 0 for work not turned in).
DISCIPLINAARY ACTIONS
Within my classroom, I will be applying the 3 strike rule; which consists of STRIKE 1, a warning, STRIKE 2, sitting in the "HOT SEAT" thinking about what he/she has done ad writing it down on the 'THINK SHEET", and STRIKE 3, a note will be entered into RENWEB along with a demerit. parents will be notified via email when such incidences occur. Please refer to the Parent/Student handbook routining the levels of offenses and associated demerit system.
